I’ve spent over 50 years behind the lens, living and working in Omaha, NE. My journey began long before the era of digital cameras and automation-back in the age of film, when every shot was a deliberate act. With rolls of film limiting each session, every frame had to matter. Skill, patience, and a keen eye defined a photographer’s artistry in those days, and those same principles guide me to this day.

Throughout my career, I’ve captured portraits of captive beasts at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo, photographed dangerous ocean predators-while uncaged, and documented the beauty and complexity of people from all walks of life; in the ocean and on land. Every image has a story behind it, told through my lens.
